What should my son or daughter wear?

Children should wear something which they will be comfortable running around in such as a tracksuit and pair of trainers. BSA training kits (top and shorts) or BSA tracksuits (zip up top and trousers) are available to purchase but are not compulsory. 


Do all of your coaches have criminal record checks?

Yes every member of BSA staff, including coaches, have a full clean DBS check. We do not accept DBS checks held with other organisations and instead run our own DBS check (via the London FA) before a coach leads a group of children.


How do I pay for my session?

Paying for your session is simple and you have several options:

1. Book through our website (pay via PayPal) 

2. Bank transfer to our club account

3. In cash at/before your session


Do I need to bring any equipment?

No all equipment will be provided.


What if my son/daughter needs to go to the toilet during the session?

Toilet facilities are available at every session, if your child needs to go to the toilet they will be escorted by a member of the BSA team.


How do I know if my son or daugther will get enough attention from their coach?

We have a strict limit on our class sizes to ensure that our coaches are able to speak with and support every child in their class. 


What happens if my son or daughter hurts themselves during a session?

A qualified first aider will be present at every BSA session, they will be able to treat your child for any minor injuries and decide whether your son or daughter is able to continue taking part in the session. If it is unsafe for your child to continue in the session, you will be contacted straightaway.


My child is very nervous about joining what can I do to reassure them?

Everyone is welcome at BSA but if your son or daughter is particularly nervous or has had a bad experience elsewhere, let us know when you book your place. We can ensure that a coach is on hand to meet them when they arrive and then ease them into their group. 


What happens if the weather is bad?

If the weather is bad and the ground conditions are slippery it may be necessary to cancel the session. We will carry out a full pitch inspection prior to the session to decide if it is safe to continue. If the session is cancelled you will be sent a message via the preferred contact method (listed on your personal details form) at least 1 hour before the session start time.


What should I do if I have any concerns?

If you have any concerns please speak directly to Serdem or Amy who will be able to answer any queries that you may have.


Do you have any indoor facilities?

All of our sessions are held outside, during the winter months children should wear extra layers and our coaches will esnure that they are kept active throughout.


Do you offer refunds?

All payments are non-refundable.
